#DeportBieber: Something we can all get behind

Justin Bieber, Outlaw

BY PAT FLYNN

Ellen DeGeneres Justin Bieber got arrested last night and it unified Twitter in a way that I thought only the death of Osama bin Laden could do. Bieber, a 19 year-old pop star that never actually had a chance of being a normal human being, got popped by Miami Beach Police Wednesday night for allegedly drag racing, resisting arrest without violence and copping to drinking, smoking weed and prescription drugs. It’s a tale as old as time.

Easily, the best horse race of all time

As a native South Floridian, I find myself listening to Dan Le Batard’s radio show quite frequently. Yesterday, despite the fact that he was working on a non-visual medium, Le Batard kept alluding to some horse race he showed on his television show that I don’t ever watch.

The horse (his name is Spicer Cub, btw) that ran twice as far as every other horse nearly won the race. I didn’t say the horse did not die from whipping he received from that little jockey. He very well might’ve, because the little man with the whip was going to TOWN. Check it out after the jump. Well worth it.

Tim Tebow’s back at it. Making headlines that have nothing to do with actually playing football.

Tebow, the most famous NFL quarterback in league history that can’t beat out Mark “The Butt-Fumbler” Sanchez, made headlines this week as he got on Wichita State’s team bus and did what it is he actually does professionally.

No, not walk around with a clipboard. The other thing. Speak publicly.

Chuck E Cheese’s: WHERE ADULTS CAN GET IN FIGHTS!

Chuck E Cheese's in Boynton Beach, FLORIDA. Like this would happen in any other state.

Chuck E Cheese’s in Boynton Beach, FLORIDA. Like this would happen in any other state.

By PAT FLYNN

I’ve always known Chuck E Cheese’s as the go-to place for a kid to be a kid. Like if a kid ever came up to me and said “I just want to be a kid.” I would have told the kid to go to Chuck E Cheese’s.

But after this awesome/expected story out of Florida, I would no longer hypothetically tell kids to go to Chuck E Cheese’s because apparently they’re changing their image.

DeAndre Jordan over Brandon Knight is the new JaDaveon Clowney through

DeAndre Jordan's reaction to his demolition of Brandon Knight.

DeAndre Jordan’s reaction to his demolition of Brandon Knight.

At the exact moment DeAndre Jordan unleashed fury on Brandon Knight, I was probably watching Marnie try to win back her ex because he’s rich now start to chase her dream in Girls.

But after seeing Twitter erupt, I pulled up the dunk and proceeded to watch it about 13 times. Once I picked up my jaw, I had a couple thoughts: 1) Props to Knight for sacrificing rep and ego (or, as J.R. Smith calls that combo, “EVERYTHING”) to make that stop. 2) This play is not going away. Anyone who saw this knew it instantly. Last time I felt this way from a highlight was when Jadeveon Clowney impaled Michigan running back Vincent Smith in the Champs Sports Bowl.

Kobe Bryant goes for the rare second self-given nickname

I was pretty certain Kobe Bryant was getting younger. I couldn’t be positive until yesterday when two things happened: 1) Steve Blake confirmed it for me.

2) This happened.

At the end of the day Kobe Bryant is just like any psychotically over-competitive person. He enjoys displaying his dominance in every way both on and off the basketball court at every single possible opportunity.

Last week Mark Cuban took the liberty of hosing down Kobe’s competitive fire with about 400 gallons of gasoline. Cuban told a Dallas radio station that the Lakers should consider using its amnesty clause on Bryant, who is set to make $30.5 million next year.
